Director Department of Accreditation and 1 official participated in ALPAC peer evaluation team, 22-27 July 2018 in Malaysia

Mr. Chhrien Sengkong, Director and Mr. Hoy Sokpheap, Deputy Director, Department of Accreditation, Ministry of Industry & Handicraft, participated in APLAC peer evaluation team as the observer to evaluate compeatamce of Accrediitation Body of Standards Malaysia. This evaluation held from 22 to 27 July 2018 at Malaysia.

His Excellency SAT SAMY, Secretary of State, a high representative of HE. CHAM Prasidh, Senior Minister, Minister of Industry & Handicraft, presided over the ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 Accredittaion Award Ceremony of Calibration Laboratory of National Metrology Center (NMC). The Certificate was isuued by Departement of Accreditation (DA), Ministry of Industry & Handicraft, Cambodia and Burea of Accreditation (BoA), Ministry of Science and Technology, Vietnam to NMC Cralibration Laboratory. The Award Ceremony was held on 30 October 2017 at Ministry of Industry & Handicraft, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Training Course on Mock Assessment for Laboratory Accrdeitation, 16 to 20 October 2017, Phnom Penh

The training course on Mock Assessment for Laboratory Accreditation was held from 16 to 20 October 2017 at Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In this training course was participaated by all DA officials and technical experts form Government institution and private laboratories, totaly 20 Person and shared experiences by PTB expert. In this program, was separated 2 groups, group 1 went to conduct Mock Assessment at Bureau Veritas (Cambodia) Limited. and group 2 went to conduct Mock Assessment at Intertek Testing Servixe (Cambodia) Ltd. This tarining course was organized by Department of Accreditation, Ministry of Industry and Handicraft and supported by PTB Germany.

Study Visit on Assessment for Product Certification Body Support by ACFS, Thailand, 25th - 29th September 2017, Bangkok, Thailand

4 Official of Department of Accreditation (DA), Ministry of Industry & Handicraft, Cambodia and 2 experts from Ministry of Aggriculture, Forestry & Fishery participated study visit on Assessment for Product Certification Body ISO/IEC 17065 for Agriculture product and food, organized by ACFS Thailand from 25th to 30th September 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand. This staudy visit orgarnized by follow MoU between DA, Cambodia and ACFS, Thailand on cooperartion for accreditation system in the field of aggriculture.
