General Department of Accreditation of Cambodia (GDAC)

The General Department of Accreditation of Cambodia (GDAC) with 3 Departments under the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) is responsible as the national authority for Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) in Cambodia such as: Testing and Carlibration Laboratories ISO/IEC 17025, Medical Laboratories ISO 15189, Product Certification Bodies ISO/IEC 17065, Management System Certification Bodies ISO/IEC 17021, Validation and Verification Bodies ISO 14065, ISO/IEC 17029 and Inspection Bodies ISO/IEC 17020 .etc.

GDAC works under the supervision and steering of the Cambodian Accreditation National Council (CANC), which is chaired by His Excellency HEM VANNDY Minister of the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation.

CANC-GDAC got signatory of Mutual Recognition Arrangement_MRA from International Laboratory Accredittaion Cooperation_ILAC in the scope of testing laboratories ISO/IEC 17025 and became full member of ILAC since August 2023.
